Sarah Woolford

Psychotherapist MHC-LP

Sarah is a therapist who believes meaningful healing happens through the relationships we build with ourselves and with others. She works with clients navigating anxiety, trauma, self-doubt, relational difficulties, and major life transitions, particularly those who feel stuck in longstanding patterns or disconnected from themselves. She sees therapy as a place to slow down, become curious about ourselves, and develop a deeper understanding of what shapes the way we move through the world.

Sarah brings a curious, compassionate, and deeply relational presence to her work. She believes that our symptoms and coping strategies often make sense when we understand what they have been trying to protect us from. Rather than judging or trying to eliminate these parts of ourselves, she helps clients understand them with greater curiosity and compassion. She also pays close attention to the nervous system and the ways our bodies can communicate experiences that are difficult to put into words.

Her approach draws primarily from Internal Family Systems (IFS), relational therapy, somatic and nervous system work, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Sarah balances deeper exploration with practical tools that help clients navigate emotions and relationships while developing greater self-trust, emotional resilience, and connection to themselves.
