Sanna Zak

Associate Psychotherapist

Sanna believes that healing happens through connection: that feeling truly seen can create meaningful change. When the things you most fear about yourself finally see the light of day in the presence of another person, and you discover that they are survivable—healing may begin. With a warm and genuinely caring presence, Sanna’s priority is to create a space where you feel safe to explore your inner world, allowing the parts of you that hold shame, anger, and pain into the room. During sessions, she offers open-minded acceptance and gentle encouragement to make the changes that led you to seek therapy.

Sanna works with adults who want to break patterns that no longer serve them and who desire to feel more fulfilled and connected in their relationships and within themselves. Her approach is holistic and trauma-informed, drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities, including psychodynamic therapy, ACT, IFS, attachment theory, and family systems perspectives. She specializes in supporting people navigating difficulties in relationships and dating, complex trauma, family dynamics, boundary setting, sexuality and desire, cultural identities, and self-esteem. Sanna strives to empower clients on their journey toward greater clarity, authenticity, and aliveness.
