Ketamine-Assisted
Psychotherapy
Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) combines the therapeutic use of ketamine with intentional psychological preparation, support, and integration. For some people, the experience can create greater access to emotions, memories, perspectives, or parts of the self that have felt difficult to reach through traditional talk therapy alone.
At Seventh House, we understand the medicine as one part of a larger therapeutic process. Thoughtful preparation helps establish intention and readiness for the experience, while integration creates space afterward to explore what emerged and consider how new insights might be carried into everyday life. The goal is not simply to have a profound experience, but to develop a meaningful relationship with what the experience reveals.
